HR Generalist - People & Culture Administrator

Location: Northern Italy or Central-Southern Italy, with a housing contribution of up to €2,000 gross per month for 18 months and reimbursement of relocation expenses.

Contract and compensation: Permanent, full-time employment; third level under the ConfCommercio Commerce, Distribution and Services collective agreement, with a gross annual salary of €28,500 over 14 payments.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, with availability for shifts from Monday to Sunday.

The role

Reporting to the Store People & Culture Business Partner, you will progressively take on responsibility for HR processes in a store with at least 100 colleagues.

  • Administration: enter attendance, shift changes, sickness and holidays, and manage payslips
  • Organisation: understand scheduling principles, support managers in creating schedules based on commercial commitments, and organise holiday plans
  • Recruitment: publish adverts, screen CVs and conduct interviews for store sales assistants
  • Training: manage new colleague training, induction and development plans
  • Safety: organise mandatory training, reporting, personal protective equipment and emergency plans

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Generalist or Specialist in a structured organisation
  • Positive, energetic and dynamic approach, collaborative spirit and problem-solving skills
  • Strong people skills, relationship-building ability and empathy
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Availability for full-time, 40-hour work from Monday to Sunday, across five working days
  • Willingness to relocate within Italy, with the option to express a preference between the Northern and Central-Southern areas
