Shape the Future of Parts Logistics in Central and Eastern Europe

Mercedes-Benz Polska is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Logistics Center Poland to lead regional logistics operations and drive excellence across the parts supply chain for Mercedes-Benz. In this leadership role, you will ensure optimal parts availability and supply chain performance for the retail network in Poland and selected General Distributors in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine.

You will oversee the Logistics Center Poland, manage key logistics partnerships, lead operational and strategic initiatives, and ensure that the logistics organization delivers premium service levels while maintaining cost efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead Regional Parts Logistics Operations: Manage warehouse and distribution operations through the logistics partner; oversee receiving, storage, picking, returns, claims, and transportation processes; define logistics and transportation strategies; and manage performance, service quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive Logistics Center Poland Performance: Assume overall site responsibility, ensure legal, environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance, manage infrastructure and space utilization, represent the center toward authorities and external partners, and lead budgeting, operational planning, and site governance.
  • Optimize Inventory and Quality Management: Ensure compliance with inventory management standards, lead inventory counting and stock accuracy initiatives, optimize assortment management, returns, scrapping, and stock performance, and reduce logistics losses.
  • Strengthen Customer Support and Retail Network Performance: Build relationships with dealers and General Distributors, monitor order-to-delivery performance and customer satisfaction, support Parts and Accessories growth initiatives, and provide premium logistical support.
  • Financial Planning and Business Steering: Lead operational planning and performance controlling, monitor logistics KPIs, budgets, service levels, and costs, conduct business analyses, and implement corrective measures and cost optimization projects.
  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Define workforce planning with HR, attract and develop talent, foster accountability and collaboration, and coach leaders and employees.
  • Collaborate on Regional Logistics Strategy: Partner with Global Customer Service and Parts, regional functions, and local management teams to develop the Parts business and logistics network and implement regional and global initiatives.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead transformation and optimization projects, improve warehouse processes and systems, use data-driven decision-making and operational excellence methodologies, and support digitalization and innovation.

Qualifications

Experience

  • University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, or operations management.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale logistics operations and third-party logistics providers.
  • Experience in an international and matrix organization.
  • Budget and financial management experience.
