The Group Head is responsible for a defined business scope within the Group's business line, setting priorities, objectives and programmes in accordance with management directives and translating strategic objectives into concrete actions across impacted local entities.
Your team
Your team consists of around ten employees, mainly based in France and the United Kingdom. You will manage managers across the different locations.
Your department
Within the Fund Services Business Unit, the Investment Management Services (IMS) business line provides Middle Office, Reporting and Currency Overlay services to clients. It includes:
- Middle Office: Trade Management, Position Keeping and Business Projects
- Currency Overlay
- Reporting and Performance Analysis: Performance Attribution, Performance Allocation and Risk Measurement, and Market Risk
As part of its strategic expansion, IMS is looking for an experienced Head of Product Sales. Your main responsibility will be to lead the promotion and distribution of IMS products and services to institutional and corporate clients, asset managers and private banks. You will also be the point of contact for the sales and onboarding teams of Caceis Bank.
Your responsibilities
As Group Head of Product Sales, you are responsible for defining the priorities, objectives and roadmap for your business activity.
Implement the strategy
- Contribute to deploying the strategic vision of your business line within your area of responsibility and identify the necessary means and resources.
- Ensure the roadmap delivers the expected results.
- Contribute to business development by participating in responses to requests for proposals and client onboarding projects.
Product expertise and structuring
- Translate complex client needs into suitable operational and financial solutions in close cooperation with product and sales teams, particularly during the presales phase.
- Actively monitor regulatory and macroeconomic developments in financial markets to adapt the IMS product offering and maintain a competitive advantage.
Manage human resources
- Ensure optimal organisation of resources and processes in a development context and support employees across all production sites.
Organise the activity
- Define roles and responsibilities.
- Develop, improve and monitor service quality.
Ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Monitor and share market issues and client expectations.
- Propose new ideas and projects to improve business performance or address new challenges.
- Encourage continuous process reviews and prioritise optimisation proposals.
Work setting: Hybrid.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree, MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent.
- Bac +5, business school, engineering school or university qualification.
- At least 11 years of experience, with significant experience in managing international teams.
- Experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Experience developing business relationships or working in a commercially oriented environment.
- Organisation, adaptability, leadership and strategic vision.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, communication and client service skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally within the CACEIS business area.
- Good command of Microsoft Office and general office tools.
- Fluency in English is required; a test is mandatory during the recruitment process.
This is a management position and an executive role.
