Atos is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer - ServiceNow to join its Global ServiceNow Portfolio Organization. This senior technical leadership role reports to the CTO or Portfolio Lead and works with international stakeholders, product leaders, architects, and engineering teams across regions.
The role drives engineering innovation and technology strategy globally, including next-generation accelerators, advanced GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities, and differentiated intellectual property for Atos' ServiceNow portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions across enterprise modules and custom applications.
- Implement intelligent workflows using Now Assist, GenAI Skills, AI Agents, AI Search, Predictive Intelligence, Flow Designer, and Virtual Agent.
- Develop and maintain scoped applications using ServiceNow Studio.
- Configure workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, catalogs, and integrations.
- Build AI-powered automation and conversational workflow solutions.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow development best practices, security guidelines, and coding standards.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, defect resolution, and technical troubleshooting.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to development governance standards.
- Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and release management activities.
- Develop integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and external enterprise systems.
- Support workflow orchestration across multiple enterprise applications.
- Participate in AI-driven automation and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Contribute to reusable integration frameworks and accelerators.
Required Experience and Capabilities
- At least 7 years of relevant ServiceNow platform development experience.
- Expertise in intelligent workflow automation, enterprise integrations, CMDB/CSDM implementations, and AI-powered ServiceNow capabilities.
- Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer in an enterprise or consulting environment.
- Expertise with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
- Experience with at least two ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, Service Catalog, or custom applications.
- Experience with Now Assist, GenAI Skills, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, AI Search, and Predictive Intelligence.
- Familiarity with A2A and MCP-based AI integration approaches is an advantage.
- Understanding of scoped applications, update sets, CI/CD, and ServiceNow best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience participating in solution design workshops and technical discussions.
- Ability to support deployment, UAT, hypercare, and post-production stabilization activities.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to CRM workflows and customer operations.
- Understanding of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Exposure to low-code/no-code workflow automation.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Knowledge of DevOps and release management processes.
Preferred Certifications
- CSA - Certified System Administrator.
- CAD - Certified Application Developer.
- CIS certifications in Data Foundation, CMDB, or CSDM.
- Micro-certifications in AI or GenAI capabilities.
