This fixed-term position is responsible for managing Trade Finance operations, including Letter of Guarantee, Open Account financing, Documentary Credits, Factoring transactions, and regulatory reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Letter of Guarantee Processing: Prepare guarantee text and SWIFT message MT760. Review and collect transaction charges from customers or counter-guarantors on a regular basis.
- Open Account Financing: Execute end-to-end processing for deliverable and non-deliverable currency Open Account Bill discount. Verify KYC status of relevant parties and assess country risk.
- Documentary Credit Operations: Process import LC issuance and settlement. Handle export LC confirmation and financing. Manage forfaiting transactions based on Export LC. Conduct KYC verification and country risk assessment for all parties.
- Factoring (Non-Recourse Basis Financing): Process KRW and foreign currency factoring transactions. Review supporting documentation to ensure transaction authenticity.
- Regulatory Reporting: Complete required regulatory reports and submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial banking operations.
- Proven experience in inbound and outbound Guarantee issuance and trade finance business.
- Previous experience in Loan and Cash management is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Efficient and appropriate communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and Korean.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
