CACEIS is recruiting a Financial Lawyer to join its Fund Structuring service in Montrouge, France, on a fixed-term contract from 2 January 2027 to 30 June 2027.
Your team
The Fund Structuring service manages the administrative and/or corporate activities of UCITS and alternative investment funds for clients that have delegated these services to CACEIS Fund Administration.
- Legal structuring of French investment funds in coordination with supervisory authorities and clients, including creations, transformations, mergers and liquidations.
- Managing relationships with third parties such as statutory auditors, depositaries and portfolio managers.
- Managing the corporate life of SICAVs, including board meetings, general meetings, director mandates, minutes and legal formalities.
- Performing certain centralising correspondent functions in France.
- Supporting non-recurring assignments, including the transfer of depositary or valuation functions.
Your responsibilities
- Carry out the legal structuring of French investment funds and update annual legal documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage relationships with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers, statutory auditors, depositaries, managers and other third parties.
- Manage SICAV corporate matters, including director mandates, meeting notices, meeting files, board meetings, general meetings, minutes and legal formalities.
- Assist with the operational processing of centralising correspondent activities.
- Raise clients' awareness of legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure internal databases are updated for billing, filing and archiving purposes, in collaboration with Paralegal Officers.
- Provide legal support to operational units and draft legal studies or internal notes.
Profile
- Master 2 specialised degree in financial law or equivalent.
- Approximately two years of experience in investment fund activities in an international environment.
- Knowledge of investment fund regulations, company law and financial law.
- Professional English is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and collaborate across teams.
