Job Overview
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Engineering Intern provides support with factory planning and engineering activities and helps ensure that ongoing projects run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Document processes.
- Optimize daily processes with new ideas.
- Assist departments and other areas as needed.
- Assist with and lead meetings.
- Support and optimize Mercedes-Benz production lines.
- Perform data analysis and reporting.
- Work on department projects with guidance from other engineers.
- Support project documentation.
- Attend team meetings and track engineering performance KPIs.
- Support and implement initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
Preferred Skills
- Previous knowledge in engineering fields.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Qualifications
Applicants must have graduated within the past 12 months or be working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Candidates should be eager, driven, focused, hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to learn from experienced engineering team members.
Additional Details
- Hourly pay rate of $20.00 for the internship program.
- No assisted living or relocation package is offered.
- This is an on-site position.
