Job Overview
The eContracting Operations Supervisor leads initiatives that advance the digitalization of the contracting process for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. The role manages vendor, dealer, and field relationships; supports DMS switches and buy/sell activities; and reviews enhancements and automation opportunities in alignment with business and compliance needs.
The Supervisor leads a team of representatives supporting the eContracting strategy and ensures adherence to MBFS processes and protocols, including proper documentation and secure data storage. The role works closely with eContracting and Contract Originations teams and provides operational support in collaboration with Funding and Credit Operations Management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Specialists supporting eContracting initiatives, including productivity monitoring, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Oversee daily eContracting operations and provide operational support, troubleshooting, and process continuity.
- Analyze reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to eContracting performance and dealer adoption.
- Act as the primary liaison for external vendors and internal stakeholders, including DMS providers, Deal Exchange partners, DRMs, Funding, IT, Legal, and Contract Originations.
- Drive eContracting strategy through cross-functional projects, enhancements, DMS integrations, and strategy discussions.
- Coordinate meetings, track deliverables, and ensure timely execution of initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to MBFS policies, funding requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain documentation, support compliance reviews, identify risks, and provide subject matter expertise on process, system functionality, and business impacts.
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.
- Minimum of 3 years of overall work experience.
- Preferred experience: 3 years in business-general, 2 years in funding, and 1 year in vendor management.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, planning, organizing, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- PC and Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of NFA, Alfa, COS, eDiscounting, eContracting, FAW, and MB Advantage preferred.
