Driver FL

Applications are invited for the Driver FL position based in Wadeville Production, within the Warehouse Department. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Team Leader.

Key Performance Areas

• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently in line with company standards.
• Conduct and complete a daily forklift pre-use checklist and report any defects.
• Stack, retrieve, and transport products as instructed and according to SOPs.
• Load finished goods onto trucks and transport vehicles, ensuring stability and product integrity.
• Prevent product damage or breakages during movement and loading.
• Ensure correct stock counts before dispatching.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to stock movement and loading.
• Ensure compliance with all safety rules, site procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Participate in TPM activities and continuous improvement routines.
• Proactively report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and near misses.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives and team performance.

Experience and Skills

• Grade 12 or Matric certificate.
• English proficiency.
• Valid forklift driver’s license, essential.
• 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Proven knowledge of loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience handling finished goods or FMCG products is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of safe working procedures and warehouse safety.
• Proficiency in English, including reading and writing.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to support broader warehouse tasks when needed.
• Medical fitness.
