Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Provide the LAM Retail Organization in countries with the right operations guidelines to drive trading excellence and consumer experience across all stores, monitor execution to ensure consistency, identify best practices, and gather feedback. Develop and implement business- and consumer-focused initiatives that support and inspire the retail operations organization to achieve set targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in developing a trading and service culture within the retail back office (RBO) and influence the country retail team to achieve business plan goals and budgeted objectives.
- Manage, motivate, and inspire Market field and retail back office teams to meet or exceed commercial goals and KPIs, build brand equity, and increase operational and brand excellence.
- Implement and ensure compliance with agreed Global Retail CoE processes and standards for field and RBO operations.
- Generate and execute local retail processes in cooperation with the Global Retail CoE to drive consistency and provide feedback.
- Lead retail stores toward a world-class position by focusing on the 5 Ps: People, Product, Premises, Processes, and Profit.
- Coach and develop Store Operations and District Managers to ensure high-quality multi-store management performance and build a talent pool for higher operations roles.
- Ensure a leading shopping experience and maximize profitability from the store portfolio in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Optimize current operational overhead expenditure to deliver expected results.
- Make recommendations to the Retail Director on market-level commercial opportunities by analyzing retail KPIs and country retail trends and needs.
- Adhere to global standards for retail marketing, visual merchandising, and other store-related activities, and monitor established processes.

Country Retail Operations and Retail Back-office team; Regional B&T and Omnichannel team; Regional finance and technology team; Global retail and business solution team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong skills acquired through advanced training, study, and experience. Broad and deep knowledge in the functional area, combined with broad knowledge of other areas.
Required Education and Experience
- 8 years of experience with retail.
- 3 years of management experience as a manager of experts.
