Maintain and update the MRP database, including supplier, quotation, delivery terms, safety stock, unloading points, lot sizes, and related data, within ERP systems such as SAP.
Identify and resolve MRP system exceptions and discrepancies, including shortages, excess inventory, and delivery delays.
Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to determine optimal material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and submit purchasing proposals to maintain appropriate safety stock.
Support inventory and supply-process optimization initiatives using analyses such as ABC and 80/20 analysis.
Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding material availability, potential delays, and production-plan changes.
Monitor KPIs related to material delivery performance, inventory levels, and adherence to delivery schedules, taking corrective action as needed.
Verify deliveries and delivery plausibility, including quantities and delivery dates, in relevant systems such as SAP, SMB, BBM, IBL, and Galss, and request missing data from suppliers.
Proactively identify risks relating to part availability and implement solutions with suppliers and internal departments.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional experience in logistics and procurement.
Knowledge of MRP software, ERP systems such as SAP, and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Fluency in English; German is an advantage.
Ability to identify bottlenecks, delays, and inefficiencies in logistics systems and implement solutions.
