Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of adidas Korea’s distribution and fulfillment infrastructure. Act as the market’s central project management office for supply chain initiatives and take full delivery ownership of large-scale distribution projects from concept and business case through design, construction, automation, go-live and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale distribution and fulfillment projects.
- Lead distribution center operational design, including facility layout, material flow, storage strategy and automation solutions.
- Integrate WMS, WCS, automation systems, material handling equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Drive execution across cross-functional teams, external partners and vendors against scope, timeline, budget and performance targets.
- Lead inventory migration, operational readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
- Establish and lead the market Supply Chain PMO, including governance, reporting and stage-gate processes.
- Manage multi-million-euro CAPEX programs, business cases, funding approval, risks and executive alignment.
- Monitor cost, schedule, scope, quality and risk, and manage corrective actions and escalations.
- Build in-house capabilities to develop and continuously improve the distribution and fulfillment network.
- Develop data-driven business cases and ROI assessments for network and operational improvements.
- Lead transformation and change-management programs with regional and global stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of distribution center layout, material flow, automation and operational design.
- Strong program and project management, CAPEX, governance and portfolio oversight skills.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs under time pressure.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Fluent English; Korean strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with project-management tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four-year university degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial or Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive supply chain or distribution experience focused on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience leading at least one large-scale greenfield or brownfield distribution center project through go-live and stabilization.
- Experience managing large-scale CAPEX programs and 3PL or engineering suppliers.
- 5+ years of leadership or team-management experience.
- PMI/PMP certification and PMO experience are a plus.
