About the Role
The Director, Demand & Integrated Business Planning is responsible for leading the introduction, implementation, and continued management of Integrated Business Planning processes and service-level agreements in accordance with global standards. Integrated Business Planning connects strategy, finance, demand, supply, and execution into one integrated plan, enabling better decisions and stronger business performance.
The role owns and facilitates execution of the planning process in accordance with global Heineken standards and aligns marketing, trade marketing, sales, planning, production, logistics, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and coach the demand planning team.
- Establish planning standards, processes, and accountability.
- Build analytical and commercial capabilities within the organization.
- Develop planning talent, establish performance expectations, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Change Management and IBP Process Execution
- Ensure introduction, execution, and continuous improvement of the IBP cycle in line with Heineken standards.
- Clarify, communicate, and monitor stakeholder responsibilities throughout the planning process.
- Coach stakeholders to improve processes and plans.
- Monitor execution of decisions made in planning meetings and report into the next cycle.
- Resolve ad hoc issues through formal processes and escalation paths.
- Participate in the Heineken S&OP community of practice and support standards development.
- Link past S&OP decisions to actual performance and trends in the S&OP dashboard.
IBP Commitment and Stakeholder Management
- Establish governance to monitor and improve IBP effectiveness using performance indicators, audit tools, and stakeholder feedback.
- Build awareness and support across the operating company and act as an ambassador for the IBP process.
- Facilitate IBP meetings, prepare agendas, chair meetings, and involve relevant decision makers and functional perspectives.
- Ensure high-quality decisions and one agreed plan, including underlying assumptions, are supported by stakeholders.
Demand Planning and Forecasting
- Lead the end-to-end demand planning process across brands, SKUs, packages, channels, customers, and markets.
- Establish and maintain the company’s rolling demand forecast.
- Identify root causes of forecast error and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning to translate market demand into an executable supply plan while managing forecast changes, inventory strategies, capacity constraints, and service risks.
Information Quality and Management
- Ensure all data required for the process is delivered on time, completely, accurately, and in accordance with Heineken standards.
- Monitor data quality and recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Maintain a high-quality IBP S&OP deck with reliable volume and value inputs and outputs.
- Provide one common and accurate S&OP deck to guide preparation, decisions, and discussion.
Basic Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or operations management.
- 7–10 years of experience in FMCG and supply chain, preferably in planning and S&OP management.
- Strong financial, analytical, and commercial literacy.
- Ability to lead and work effectively cross-functionally.
- Proven project and change management experience.
- Ability to lead, coach, develop, and deliver results with a team.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
- Expertise in IBP and S&OP processes, inventory management, ERP systems, SAP, and Blue Yonder.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $165,000–$185,000 plus annual bonus.
