About Eviden
Eviden is the Atos Group brand for hardware and software products, operating in areas including advanced computing, cybersecurity products, mission-critical systems and vision AI. Within Eviden’s Digital Identity presales team, the Presales Engineer supports offerings for large enterprise clients and institutions in France and internationally.
The role focuses on digital identity, digital trust and identity security solutions, including PKI, certificates, secure cards, CMS/CLM solutions, electronic signatures and trust services. The position is based in Zagreb and involves joining a new team.
Your Responsibilities
- Support sales activities, including needs qualification, value proposition development, proposal preparation and negotiations.
- Design solutions aligned with clients’ business, regulatory and security requirements.
- Define Digital Identity solution architectures covering PKI, digital certificates, smart cards, CMS, electronic signatures and strong authentication.
- Integrate associated security components such as HSM, KMS and IAM.
- Deliver product and platform demonstrations and contribute to Proofs of Concept.
- Support customer technical qualification phases.
- Respond to RFI, RFP and RFQ tenders by writing technical sections, compliance matrices, cost estimates and project planning.
- Coordinate internal contributors across R&D, product, support, legal and finance.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, gathering requirements, challenging use cases, facilitating workshops and maintaining customer relationships.
- Train internal teams and partners, produce demo kits, FAQs and integration playbooks, and monitor technology and regulatory developments.
- Capture customer needs and contribute to the evolution of Digital Identity offerings.
Required Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in presales or an equivalent technical consulting or system integration role involving PKI, identity, certificates, smart cards, HSM or CMS/CLM.
- Higher education degree in engineering, electronics, embedded systems, cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
- Strong business orientation, communication, presentation, teaching, analytical and synthesis skills.
- Expertise in information security, ideally PKI, smart cards, strong authentication, encryption or identity management.
- Knowledge of complex security architectures, Linux, Unix and Windows.
- Fluent English; French is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- PKI principles, X.509, OCSP, CRL, CSR, TLS, RSA, ECC and SHA-2/SHA-3.
- CMS/CLM and identity, certificate and key lifecycle management.
- HSMs and security and compliance frameworks including FIPS 140-2/3, eIDAS, ANSSI, PCI, GDPR, ETSI and QSCD.
- Information system architectures, APIs, application integration, and on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
Nice to Have
- Cloud knowledge including Azure, AWS or GCP, BYOK/HYOK, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of QSCD tokens, smart cards, minidriver/CSP/PKCS#11, PIV, eIDAS profiles, personalization and lifecycle management.
- Experience designing demonstrations and PoCs, initial exposure to post-quantum cryptography, or experience in government, financial or telecom environments.
