Design and Development HVAC hoses, Life cycle management for Cooling, heating systems

Tasks

1. Manage new product development activities for HVAC hoses to meet quality, maturity, timeline, cost, and weight targets, and manage the life cycle of cooling and heating lines.
2. Handle field issues.
3. Coordinate with Packaging, Design, Simulation, Homologation, Sensor/Camera/Antenna, and other cross-functional teams.
4. Coordinate and own test scopes, FMEA, sample parts, and project documentation.
5. Steer multiple suppliers across the globe and drive the product/project management control plan.
6. Support the integration of quality management measures and component approval processes.
7. Create RFQs, component requirement specifications, and technical documents for cost determination and offer evaluation in cooperation with Purchasing.
8. Manage the Engineering Change Management process and related documentation.
9. Manage customer needs and ensure legal and special project requirements.
10. Travel worldwide to meet hardware and vehicle build milestones.

Skills

• Good English communication skills.
• German proficiency preferred.
• Several years of experience in vehicle development, particularly hose routing, assembly, functional parts, and seals.
• Sound knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience with the Mercedes-Benz Development System process preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers and development partners in HVAC development.
