Depositary Operations Officer - Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions

Job description
Within CACEIS Bank, Luxembourg branch, you will join the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, which offers services to Private Equity, Real Estate and Securitization funds.
Your role will be to analyze and supervise the maintenance and reconciliation of clients' depositary portfolios. You will also review compliance and monitor portfolios in accordance with applicable regulations, including AIFMD. You will be the client's main point of contact and handle requests according to your level of expertise.
Main missions
Analysis, monitoring and reconciliation of PERES asset portfolios
- Analyze portfolio movements and record and validate them in the Efront tool.
- Communicate with clients to analyze transactions in advance, review investment documentation and maintain the depositary portfolio.
- Analyze Private Equity fund investment contracts through to their final targets across all strategies.
- Identify income flows from targets and holdings.
- Carry out annual circularization and portfolio reconciliation.
Controls in relation to AIFMD
- Perform first-level controls of investment restrictions.
- Verify cash flows do not exceed applicable thresholds.
Other activities
- Produce reports for investors and improve existing solutions.
- Ensure client relations within the area of activity, in conjunction with Relationship Managers.
Profile
- Postgraduate degree (MA, MSc, PhD, Doctorate or equivalent).
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Risk or Law.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Proven experience in depositary or middle-office control, or auditing alternative investment funds such as Private Equity, real estate or infrastructure funds.
- Legal and financial knowledge of alternative funds and vehicles.
- Teamwork, organization and priority-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills for understanding contracts and investment structures.
- Initiative and a sense of responsibility.
- Good knowledge of office IT tools, particularly advanced Excel.
- Fluent English; another language is an asset.
