Retail Department Manager

Location & Store Type: South Edmonton Common Nike Store

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends

As a Nike Department Manager, also known as a Coach, you’ll lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You’ll use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
• One year of leadership experience
• Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Experience using tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and keep store functions running seamlessly
• Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates
• Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed
• Lead team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor
