Become a part of the NIKE, Inc. team as an Overnight Department Manager at the Nike House of Innovation in New York City. In this role, you will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.

You will bring retail to life through ground-breaking technology, personalized customization, and exceptional service. You will implement Nike Service Principles, represent Nike’s global culture of sport, and build opportunities through community partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team and help keep all store functions running seamlessly.
  • Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates.
  • Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Lead store teams and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
  • Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
  • One year of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
  • Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Schedule and compensation

This is a full-time position requiring 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends. The overnight schedule is 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly rate ranges from $32.08 to $48.12, with the actual rate varying based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
