Department Manager - Nike Vaughan Mills Store
Location & Store Type: Vaughan Mills Nike Store
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends
Behind every great team is a great coach. As a Department Manager, you’ll lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported.
You’ll use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies, build community partnerships, implement Nike Service Principles, and represent Nike’s culture of sport, its brand, and its community.
Qualifications
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
- One year of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Proven ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and help keep all store functions running seamlessly
- Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates
- Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed in their daily responsibilities
- Lead the store team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor

The base CAD hourly rate generally ranges from CAD $27.47 per hour to $29 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
