Department Manager – Nike Vacaville

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Department Manager, known as a Coach, for the Nike Factory Store in Vacaville, California. This full-time role involves leading a retail team, delivering excellent customer service, driving store results, and building community partnerships.

Location and schedule

• Nike Factory Store, Vacaville
• 262 Nut Tree Rd, Vacaville, CA 95687
• Full-time, 34–40 hours per week
• Nights and weekends included

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire the team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Recruit, assess, onboard, and develop store employees.
• Equip team members with the tools needed for their daily responsibilities.
• Lead business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people management.
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
• Build opportunities through community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to use conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling tools.
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation and benefits

The hourly rate ranges from $29.51 to $44.26, with the actual rate varying based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
