Join the NIKE Team as a Department Manager
As a Nike Department Manager, you’re the face of NIKE. In a high-volume, fast-paced environment, you’ll guide customers, lead your team, deliver excellent service, and represent NIKE’s culture of sport, brand, colleagues, and community.
You’ll lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver the best customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You’ll use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.
Putting Your Best Foot Forward
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- One year of leadership experience.
- Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Experience with conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
What You’re Responsible For
- Lead a team that keeps store functions running seamlessly.
- Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates.
- Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed.
- Lead store business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor.
