Department Manager — NIKE Clearance Tempe
As a Nike Department Manager, also called a Coach, you will lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You will use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies, build community partnerships and represent Nike’s global culture of sport.
The role is full time, 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends, at the NIKE Clearance Tempe store in Tempe, Arizona.
Qualifications
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- One year of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Proven ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and keep store functions running seamlessly.
- Attract, assess and onboard future teammates.
- Equip store employees with the tools needed for their daily responsibilities.
- Lead store team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people leadership.
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
