Department Manager – Nike Auburn Hills

As a Nike Department Manager, you’re the face of NIKE. You’ll work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, guiding customers, training your team, and implementing Nike’s Service Principles while representing the brand, your team, and your community.

You’ll lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You’ll use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
• One year of leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that keeps store functions running seamlessly
• Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates
• Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed
• Lead store business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor
