Tasks

  • Consolidate and manage all vehicle electrical and electronic defects by collaborating with testing teams and stakeholders.
  • Understand technical issues, evaluate maturity, monitor defect progress, and support issue resolution when necessary.
  • Provide defect summaries and maturity evolution updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring maturity topics are closed on time without jeopardizing project milestones.
  • Understand Telematics, ADAS, and Comfort E/E domains to support defect resolution and testing activities.
  • Deep dive into technical discussions with developers and stakeholders and drive the issue-resolution process by joining and supporting testing activities.
  • Consolidate and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
  • Define and create measures, processes, or tools for defect consolidation.
  • Ensure accurate issue documentation in the relevant system and implement effective measures for critical defects.
  • Provide general maturity overviews and risk assessments to achieve project milestones.
  • Generate defect summary reports, assess risks based on defect severity and technical details, and report, update, or escalate critical project topics.
  • Support the team, testing engineers, project management, and other test-related work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer science, vehicle engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of electrical and electronic development or testing experience at an OEM or supplier.
  • Deep understanding of technical details, vehicle architectures, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
  • Experience in engineering change management or defect management.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate and support stakeholders in an agile way.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-responsibility, teamwork, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of vehicle CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and E/E architecture.
  • Experience with diagnostics and trace analysis; familiarity with CANoe or CANalyzer.
  • Good driving skills and a valid Chinese driving license.
  • Coding or Python/Matlab experience is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Fluent Chinese and English language skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel within China and abroad for test drives.
