Your department
Within CACEIS Fund Administration, the Master Data Services (MDS) Operations Department brings together Data Management activities to provide CACEIS with consistent data across its businesses. The department manages reference data for prices, instruments, counterparties and funds.
Data Management specializes in feeding and maintaining databases containing security characteristics, prices, corporate actions and portfolios for CACEIS Fund Administration.
The Data Officer administers the reference data tools and associated tools within their unit. They work directly in the systems to manage required data and make it available within the required deadlines, while also advising internal users on the use and evolution of reference data repositories.
Your missions
- Daily administration of reference data: collect information required to populate repositories; advise and support requesters according to their functional needs; check the consistency, completeness and currency of submitted information; enter controlled data into the relevant repositories and make it available to CACEIS business lines within required deadlines.
- Control and management of anomalies: receive requests and complaints from internal and external clients in accordance with established processes; analyze the causes of anomalies, verify data and correct repositories or guide clients toward a solution; apply the Control Plan and contribute to its evolution; check KPIs and suggest process improvements.
- Maintenance of reference data: update databases as part of specific activities, including mass updates and large-scale data cleansing.
- Evolution of reference data: identify and analyze new client needs and propose solutions, improvements and evolutions; work with IT on continuous improvement of the information system; support client onboarding and organize expected repository updates; monitor technical changes in other units from testing through implementation; challenge proposed solutions and recommend adaptations while respecting the functional architecture of other units.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Accounting/Finance specialization
- A first experience in UCITS accounting and/or knowledge of providers is an advantage
- 4 to 5 years of experience in UCITS accounting
- Minimum experience level: 6–10 years
- Knowledge of securities businesses and UCITS specificities
- Good interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation
- Rigor, analytical thinking, teamwork and availability
- Autonomous use of standard office software, particularly Excel and Access
- Ability to communicate in English in writing and orally
