Within the Tech & Product Department, the Data Factory defines, deploys and operates solutions for data use cases and process automation across BforBank platforms. It also contributes to product development and the sharing of data practices within BforBank squads.
Main responsibilities
- Perform technical analyses and impact studies for data products, including reports, dashboards and semantic layers.
- Design solutions and model data according to data development best practices.
- Collect, store and process data from databases, CSV files, APIs and other sources.
- Develop ingestion processes in Python and SQL scripts in the Google GCP cloud environment.
- Provide data to BforBank’s internal business teams by creating reports and dashboards in Looker.
- Write and update technical documentation for implemented solutions, including data models, procedures and scheduling.
- Work collaboratively in an agile team and support testers.
Skills and qualifications
- Knowledge of Python scripting for data processing.
- Knowledge of database modelling and SQL.
- Knowledge of a cloud environment such as GCP.
- Knowledge of a data integration tool such as DBT, DataFlow or Informatica.
- Knowledge of a reporting and data visualisation tool such as Looker Core Enterprise or Looker Studio.
- Knowledge of a code management tool such as GitLab.
- Currently studying at engineering school or equivalent Bac+5 level.
- Experience with study projects as a developer.
