About the role

Proseco is the Global Security Function of HEINEKEN. Proseco plays a key role in protecting our people, business, assets and reputation worldwide. As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in strengthening HEINEKEN’s cyber resilience by proactively identifying, analysing, and advising on cyber threats that may impact our people, assets, and reputation. You will transform complex threat intelligence from technical and open sources into clear, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and incident response across the organisation. Working closely with global security, technology, and business stakeholders, you act as a trusted subject matter expert, trainer, and intelligence partner during both day-to-day operations and crisis situations.

Key responsibilities

  • Cyber Threat Monitoring & Intelligence: Proactively monitor clear, deep, and dark web sources and threat intelligence tooling to identify emerging cyber threats, campaigns, and threat actors relevant to HEINEKEN’s global operations. Maintain situational awareness of global cyber, geopolitical, and sector-specific developments.
  • Analysis & Intelligence Production: Conduct structured threat analysis and transform raw data into timely, actionable, and stakeholder-tailored intelligence products, including reports, assessments, and advisories. Deliver monthly threat reports to inform strategic decision-making for senior leadership.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Proseco teams and Global Functions, collaborating with CDO teams covering CTA, Threat Hunting, and Threat Response to share threat intelligence, support incident response, and ensure alignment on cyber risks. Maintain a strong international cyber network across public and private sectors. Act as a subject matter expert in internal projects and workgroups.
  • Trainer: Design and deliver tailored security awareness training for various stakeholders, translating cyber threats into practical, role-specific insights.
  • Speak-Up case OSINT investigations: Support the HEINEKEN Speak-Up team with OSINT investigations and produce clear and detailed reports on findings.
  • Crisis support: Provide crisis support to Proseco by leveraging OSINT techniques to produce tailor-made and actionable intelligence.

What you bring

  • Bachelor or Master level education.
  • Preferably a cyber background in police, military, or intelligence services.
  • Demonstrated experience in cyber threat intelligence.
  • Proficiency in threat intelligence tools and technologies, with experience producing comprehensive threat and investigation reports.
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in Open-Source Intelligence information gathering and analysis, frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, and maintaining strong operational security.
  • Threat analysis and trend-monitoring skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report generation and communicating with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate with cyber and IT professionals as well as stakeholders without cyber knowledge.
  • English and Dutch language skills, and current location in the Netherlands.
  • Project management skills, collaborative relationship-building, and flexibility to occasionally work outside regular office hours.

HEINEKEN embraces learning and growth and anticipates scope to develop in this role. Candidates may bring relevant experience not listed above, with a thirst for learning and development.

What’s in it for you

  • Competitive monthly salary between 5,772.00 and 7,833.00 based on experience.
  • Strong pension scheme, with HEINEKEN covering two-thirds of contributions.
  • Opportunity to work within a global security environment supporting a world-renowned brand.
  • NS Business Card or mileage allowance of €0.23/km, up to 30 km per one-way trip.
  • Commitment to CO2-neutral locations by 2030.
  • Employee discounts on HEINEKEN beers and other products.
