About the role

Reporting to the Customer Development Director, the Customer Development Executive will cover the M4 Corridor from the Chippenham to Basingstoke regions. You’ll collaborate with team members and influential stakeholders to develop profitable market share, increase the availability and appeal of HEINEKEN brands, and drive incremental net distribution through pubs and bars.

You’ll activate key brand platforms, campaigns and events across relevant outlets, work with national and indirect teams to deliver tactical activity, and build a strong network of customers and contacts. You’ll also lead customer conversations to help ensure every consumer has an exceptional experience.

Key accountabilities

  • Prioritise calls to strategically important accounts and spend time where maximum impact can be gained.
  • Sell HEINEKEN’s brand propositions to outlet decision-makers, aligning them with outlet type and brand positioning.
  • Identify appropriate outlets for marketing activity and deliver promotional campaigns.
  • Support events including the UEFA Champions League, Champion’s Cup Rugby, UEFA Women’s Euros and Formula 1.

Who we’re looking for

This fast-paced role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt your selling style and tools according to the customer and channel. You’ll need to build quick, quality relationships and demonstrate passion for brands, storytelling and the HEINEKEN portfolio.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An appetite to learn and grow.
  • Experience delivering against targets.
  • Brand selling experience.
  • Commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
  • Awareness of Instagram and other social media platforms.
  • A full UK driving licence; on-road driver training is available.

Experience in pubs and beer is not essential. Applicants with a passion for excellence in execution in any industry are encouraged to apply.
