NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for its Wolf Creek Distribution Center in Atlanta, GA. This role supports Distribution Operations through workshop facilitation, metrics gathering, job aid creation, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Work On
- Support the development of the continuous improvement strategy for logistics and coach functional business partners on Nike’s operating system.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and coach for continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.
- Identify improvement areas and priorities through data-driven analysis of distribution center performance and processes.
- Use root cause analysis and lean process design principles to eliminate waste and non-value-added activities.
- Collaborate across the North America Supply Chain network to benchmark, teach, and learn from other Nike sites.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive alignment, collaboration, and integrated execution of initiatives.
- Establish and maintain standards based on industry best practices.
- Document, standardize, and improve continuous improvement tools and processes across the supply chain.
- Align teams around measurable KPIs, scope initiatives, assess progress, and hold teams accountable.
- Validate initiatives after implementation and establish communication feedback loops with senior leadership.
Who You’ll Work With
This role is part of Nike’s North America Operations function and partners with Nike operations leadership, 3PL partners, and cross-functional teams. The Continuous Improvement team supports North America Supply Chain operations through a standard, market-driven operating system focused on designing logistics templates and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience or education.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, program management, and/or Lean/Agile.
- Proficiency in Lean and continuous improvement principles; knowledge of the Toyota Production System is a plus.
- Ability to coach and influence people who do not directly report to you.
- Willingness to travel from minimal travel up to 20%, depending on business needs.
