Required Skills

• Strong experience in IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, and IMS DC is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of VSAM and CICS preferred.
• Experience in application development, enhancements, maintenance, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications.
• Develop and support COBOL, JCL, IMS DC, IMS DB, and DB2-based applications.
• Analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect fixing.
• Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support batch processing, job scheduling, and monitoring activities.
• Work closely with business users, onsite teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release management activities.

Preferred Skills

• CICS, VSAM, and MQ.
• Control-M or CA-7 job scheduling.
• Endevor, ISPW, File-AID, and SPUFI.
• IBM z/OS environment.
• Mainframe modernization and API integration exposure.
