NIKE, Inc. is looking for a Coach, also referred to as a Department Manager, to lead the team at NIKE Desert Ridge in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time position requiring 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
About the role
As a Nike Department Manager, you are the face of NIKE. You will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You will use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.
Qualifications
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
- One year of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and help keep store functions running seamlessly
- Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates
- Equip store employees with tools to succeed in their daily responsibilities
- Lead team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor
