Your Role
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement secure, high-performance, and scalable cloud solutions on Azure or AWS. You will work closely with development teams to build cloud-native applications, ensure compliance, and optimize architectures for availability and performance. This role combines cloud solution design, security expertise, and hands-on development in an Agile environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and operate secure, highly available cloud solutions on AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or ARM.
- Develop cloud-native applications and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures with Kafka.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes or OpenShift, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Implement security best practices across all layers, aligned with OWASP guidelines and compliance standards.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimizing development workflows with AI-powered tools and automation.
- Use Redis and other technologies to enable high-performance caching and real-time data access.
Your Profile
- Strong experience designing cloud solutions on AWS or Azure, with hands-on use of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or ARM.
- Solid backend development experience using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Kafka, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and established CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of cloud and application security, including OWASP principles, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and DevOps or DevSecOps practices.
- Interest in integrating AI-driven tools and features.
- Collaborative, customer-oriented approach focused on delivering quality.
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
