Role Overview
As a Cloud PreSales Senior Architect, you will solve business problems using technology and support technical sales activities for cloud PaaS and IaaS, databases, tools, and systems. You will lead the presales process, understand complex customer environments, and build close customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own technical presales activities, including solution strategy, competitive positioning, and customer success.
- Develop and deliver proposals aligned with client needs and industry best practices.
- Conduct C-level client interactions, technical workshops, and deep-dive discussions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and technology thought leader for cloud transformation journeys.
- Lead teams and pitch to clients.
- Identify and control risks and maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitors, and regulations.
- Oversee profitability, lead times, and quality within the assigned scope.
- Advise senior business representatives on product choices and implementation.
- Identify sales opportunities in cloud offerings and contribute to product development with the Practice Director.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS, supported by a technical background in technology deployments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft solutions and their application to client cloud strategies.
- Strong leadership in RFP orals, executive briefings, and technical demonstrations.
- Experience leading engagements and managing client stakeholders.
- Ability to influence C-level executives, technical leaders, and business stakeholders.
- Workshop facilitation, co-design, agility, and motivational management skills.
- Experience managing several complex product assessment tasks.

Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure or AWS Solutions Architect Expert certification
- Azure IaaS, backup and recovery, governance, SQL databases, security, serverless integration, and containers
- Active Directory/Entra ID and on-premises infrastructure experience
- Windows Server and Linux experience
- Infrastructure as Code experience with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or PowerShell
