Your role
As a Mediation Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain high-performance mediation solutions that enable seamless data flow and transformation across telecom systems. You will deliver robust, scalable, and future-ready mediation platforms by combining technical expertise with an understanding of telecom operations.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics and communications, or a relevant field, with a strong interest in software.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Nokia Mediation or another mediation product or system.
- Ability to work independently, write code, test, and deliver quality workflows, nodes, streams, and functional tests.
- Good understanding of telecom domain concepts.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Unix.
- Knowledge of C, C++, Perl, Java, and XML.
- Experience with Business Logic Tool (BLT), TimesTen, and other product-specific features.
- Scripting knowledge in Shell, Bash, Python, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud methodologies, technologies, OpenStack, and VMware is a plus.
- Experience with Nokia Mediation applications based on the Nokia CSF platform is a plus.
