Job description

Within the Finance department, the Finance Risks Convergence (FRC) programme aims to build a common collection and distribution platform, define its target operating model, implement unique transaction identifiers and establish a bank-level product repository, in accordance with BCBS 239 principles.

As a member of the FIN-FRC team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the project manager on workstream organisation, governance, planning and steering committee facilitation.
  • Producing Finance and Risk deliverables, including scoping documents, requirements, test strategy, test plans and change management materials.
  • Managing programme workstreams assigned to you, covering topics related to finance banking, capital markets, Cortex and other transverse projects.
  • Ensuring the delivery of functional components and associated transformation across the full chain from front offices to back offices and Finance-Risk functions.
  • Monitoring projects, reporting and associated budgets.
  • Providing support to the business on specific topics when required.

The role involves close collaboration with Finance, Risk, IT, IWAY, Loanscape and the CACIB implementation of the Cortex project.

Profile

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent, from a business school, engineering school or university.
  • Specialisation in finance, accounting or risk.
  • 6–10 years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methods, governance, responsibilities and key deliverables.
  • Ability to conduct studies and lead large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of Finance or Risk production activities; experience in corporate and investment banking is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand, formalise and develop an overall functional view of a process or information system.
  • Proficiency in office tools, including Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Critical thinking, autonomy, organisation, rigour, transparency, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
