Job Summary

Develop standalone and integrated desktop applications, macros, and plugins for CAD customization using .NET (C#), VB, or other relevant languages. Implement automation requirements for automotive design and coordinate projects from requirements gathering through delivery.

Responsibilities include technical decision-making with stakeholders, project planning, client communication, documentation, release coordination, and adherence to coding standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Use NX-Open APIs for prototyping, development, and complex solutions.
  • Build and deploy projects to test environments.
  • Create architecture documentation, specifications, and UI logic.
  • Work with SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Develop proofs of concept with current technologies.
  • Apply C#/.NET, VB, C/C++, NX, HTML, XML, scripting, AI, and deep-learning knowledge.
  • Manage customer communication and coordinate technical meetings.
  • Follow organizational HR and HSE policies and practices.
  • Apply DevOps and cloud knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in CAD/CAE customization, preferably with Siemens NX.
  • Experience with C# (.NET), VB, and C/C++.
  • Knowledge of NXOpen/UFUNC APIs, NX modeling and drafting, Visual Studio, UI/Block Styler/WPF, coding standards, and XML processing.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
