Job description

As part of our development in Spain, Crédit Agricole CIB is looking for a Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) to join the team based in Madrid. You will be part of the credit operations department and play a key role as an interface between clients, business lines, and operating platforms.

Your main missions will be:

• Credit management: Administer credit facilities in various forms, including agency, bilateral, syndicated, confirming, factoring, and forfaiting, from onboarding through ongoing monitoring.
• Documentation: Review and analyze legal and internal documentation, including contracts, fee sheets, and SPPI tests.
• Daily operations: Support drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, transfers, and sub-participations, and monitor fees, funding, and commitments.
• Systems: Book static data for new facilities, amendments, and refinancings, and ensure correct execution of SWIFT payments.
• Coordination: Liaise with Back Office, external clients, agents, and participant banks, and handle requests from internal and external departments.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic reports and statistics for management and head office.
• Projects: Participate in system migration and development projects related to financing and trade finance operations.
• Audit: Prepare client credit positions for external audit requests.
• Project management: Contribute actively to cross-functional initiatives within the department.

Eligibility

• Be less than 28 years old.
• Hold a Master’s degree.
• Be an EU citizen, except Spanish citizens.

Starting date: 01/12/2026

Duration: 12 months

Training and experience

A postgraduate Master’s degree from a Business School or University is required. A specialization in Project Management is a plus. A first experience in the banking sector or in project management is a plus.
