Job Purpose: Ensure safety in daily work, operate and execute process and product-related tasks qualitatively, improve key performance indicators and production losses, and lead a safe working environment on the machine or in the area. Perform tasks assigned by the line manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in line with defined safety, environmental, and food safety standards.
- Follow 5S, housekeeping, and HACCP requirements for the workplace.
- Support safety improvements using appropriate corrective measures, including TPM, Bowties, ORR teams, positive interventions, and minor interventions.
- Apply LSR principles, communicate safety improvements, address unsafe situations or behaviours, provide feedback, and report to relevant people.
- Safely shut down and start up equipment for weekly maintenance.
- Comply with HEINEKEN and local safety rules, standards, and procedures.
- Identify water and energy losses and suggest solutions while implementing environmental good practices.
- Complete quality checks in line with standards and procedures under Heineken Brewing Process Standards.
- Ensure the timely supply of raw, auxiliary, and cleaning and disinfection materials at the place of use.
- Identify quality issues, monitor product and process quality, and participate in improvement actions and quality-related analyses.
- Clean and disinfect to the expected level in line with recipe standards, SOPs, and CILT.
- Perform quality checks and take corrective decisions and actions when quality issues occur.
- Execute tagging processes, CILT, and problem-solving tools, and participate in improvement teams.
- Use digital tools to report information required for DCS, including shift handover lists, downtime reports, and shift performance information.
- Restore and sustain basic conditions using shop floor excellence tools such as Swipe Guide, Parsable, and 5S.
- Participate in APM methodology steps 0–3 and TPM improvement activities related to safety, quality, environment, and performance losses.
- Identify operational losses, including extract, water, energy, and material losses.
- Execute brewing operations on simple machines in line with valid standards and manage documentation and reporting for the work area.
- Operate equipment according to demand and seasonality, including peak and low seasons.
- Perform planned and routine brewing process activities, including sampling, cleaning, start-up, and shutdown according to SOPs and machine processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and report deviations to the Brewing Team Leader.
- Operate brewing machines in the assigned section safely and according to specifications and demand to ensure OTIF delivery.
- Apply tagging and de-tagging, prioritize tags, eliminate equipment anomalies, and perform process and equipment checks to avoid deviations and production stoppages.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Experience and skills: Minimum 0–1 years of production experience in a beverage or food manufacturing company (FMCG).
