Job Purpose

To create value for the employee and the organization. In your daily work, you will be a true strategic partner and value driver for the Supply Chain Department and Heineken Breweries. You understand your key stakeholder’s challenges and contribute to developing and delivering solutions that support Heineken in maintaining its market leadership and offering an excellent employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

This role is primarily responsible for shaping culture.

  • DEI attraction: Ensure diverse panels and shortlists for all brewery roles and proactively attract female talent.
  • Retention: Conduct systematic exit interviews for women and ensure facilities are suitable for women, including toilets, changing rooms, lactation rooms and breweries.
  • Development: Ensure brewery team members and top talents have career conversations and personal development plans, including mentoring and monitoring with the Brewery Manager and Supply Chain.
  • Inclusive culture: Train people managers in inclusive leadership, conduct at least two Listening & Dialogue sessions for women in Supply Chain annually, and ensure the SPEAK UP process is in place to raise awareness and prevent sexual harassment.
  • Climate and engagement: Identify barriers and enablers behind a healthy team culture, share results across the brewery, coordinate action plans and monthly follow-up, engage diverse voices, coach brewery leaders as culture drivers, and promote inclusion, diversity and equity.
  • Future-proofing: Remain current with emerging people concepts and trends and translate external trends into internal practices and policies.
  • Protecting and respecting people: Advise brewery leadership on human rights and SPEAK UP policies, track misconduct cases, and manage stakeholder relationships and potential disputes.
  • Talent acquisition: Align recruitment with succession planning, maintain relationships with candidates, the opco recruitment team and agencies, and support an internal talent marketplace.
  • Performance management and career planning: Oversee performance review cycles, support a performance-driven culture, manage the performance review process, promote continuous conversations and advise on performance improvement plans.
  • Talent and succession management: Shape strategic workforce planning, participate in management succession planning, support talent management processes, coach line managers, oversee talent pools and succession plans, and work with the center of excellence on performance and organization development.
  • Learning and leadership development: Foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Employee relations: Represent HEINEKEN to official bodies and worker unions, facilitate employee and employer dialogues, advise on labor relations, counsel managers and employees, support negotiations, and ensure labor law and HEINEKEN human rights policies are respected.

Direct reports: HRBP and General Service team.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial or FMCG environments.
  • Experience managing relationships with labor unions and relevant government authorities.
  • Hands-on experience with employee grievances, disciplinary processes and industrial relations in a brewery or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong HR operations background supporting and partnering with brewery or plant operations.
  • Good business acumen, adaptability, integrity and coaching ability.
  • Strong strategic and tactical delivery skills and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and HR systems skills.
  • Data insights and decision-making skills.
  • International organization experience is an advantage.

Education

Minimum of a degree in Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, HR or another related business field.
