Relevant Experience Required:

• 8-12 years in the engineering service industry
• Experience in BIW validation, body assembly process and sequence
• Experience with PLM, Teamcenter and NX
• Experience in fixture design
• Participation in physical builds
• Programming in Python or C# is an added advantage

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of BIW assembly sequences
• Very good knowledge of fixture and gripper design and standards
• Very good understanding of locator datum definition and geo-station planning
• Knowledge of BIW production equipment
• Knowledge of BIW manufacturing standards
• Very good understanding of GD&T
• Experience with manual and automatic station design
• Knowledge of safety and ergonomics standards
• BIW product and process knowledge in body shop assembly processes
• Good analytical skills and a problem-solving approach
• Good coordination and mentoring skills
• Team-player mentality

Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering.
