Job Description

Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. is looking for an experienced and passionate system integration engineer to support local development and localization activities, from system and component concept validation through production ramp-up and product release.

Build, operate, and maintain cluster HiL body comfort systems for RD China.
Lead HiL build-up focused on China-specific systems with specialist and cross-functional teams.
Define hardware concepts, test frameworks, and modeling for the Cluster HiL.
Perform continuous development validation and support system software release approval for vehicle testing.
Define and manage Cluster HiL setup requirements, including hardware and software requirements.
Develop, implement, adapt, commission, and maintain car line- and system-specific HiL models.
Create and execute manual and automated system integration test cases, including end-to-end testing.
Evaluate results, troubleshoot issues, support field-issue reproduction, and identify root causes.
Collaborate with system engineers, function owners, EE system speakers, BTVs, suppliers, and project leads to ensure system and software approval.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in automotive system engineering.
More than 10 years of experience in the automobile industry.
More than 5 years of experience with system or cluster HiL at suppliers or OEMs, especially in body comfort systems.
Advanced knowledge of the Software V-cycle, including AUTOSAR, requirements engineering, software implementation, test-framework setup, system modeling, and validation.
Experience with dSPACE SCALEXIO, Vector VT, PROVTECH, MATLAB Simulink, CANoe, CAPL, CANape, and PTA.
Knowledge of body comfort systems such as seating, roof, and display, as well as related core components.
Good communication skills, teamwork, commitment, agility, and good written and spoken English or German.
