Atos is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, automation, and ongoing management of Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services. You will work with architects, developers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while driving DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services.
  • Implement infrastructure solutions from approved HLDs and contribute to LLD creation.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM Templates and Bicep.
  • Manage source control and deployment processes using Git/GitHub and YAML.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform, and deployment issues.
  • Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimisation.
  • Review code, identify technical issues, and implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Support cloud infrastructure integration across multiple environments.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • Azure DevOps, ARM Templates, Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, YAML, and Git/GitHub.
  • Azure networking and infrastructure engineering.
  • Infrastructure design, build, integration, and infrastructure as code.
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Experience supporting HLD and LLD activities.
  • Experience building, deploying, and supporting Azure cloud solutions within enterprise environments.

Nice to Have

  • VMware, Azure monitoring and observability, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure security services.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or public sector environments.

Location and Clearance

Hybrid working requires attendance at one of the following DWP locations three days per week: Benton Park View, Newcastle; Manchester Corporate Hub, Manchester; or Peel Park, Blackpool.

Full UK SC Clearance is required. UK-based candidates only. Travel to client and project locations is required.
