Associate Test Automation Engineer
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, maintain, debug and execute automated testing solutions for web, mobile and API applications. You will collaborate with development and multidisciplinary teams in Agile and SAFe environments to ensure continuous quality throughout each sprint.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and Playwright with TypeScript.
- Implement API tests and database validation scripts.
- Improve automation frameworks using tools such as TestNG and Maven.
- Integrate and execute automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Configure and maintain continuous test execution pipelines and generate automated reports.
- Design and document manual and automated test cases, test strategies and traceability matrices.
- Execute functional, regression and integration testing.
- Identify, document and track defects through closure, and validate fixes in subsequent environments.
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve incidents.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate under Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Maintain QA process documentation and propose improvements to testing processes, tools and frameworks.
Required knowledge and experience
- Experience with Selenium and Java, and Playwright with TypeScript for web and mobile testing.
- Knowledge of API automation and database validation.
- Experience integrating pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Knowledge of TestNG, Maven, pipeline management, test case design and test strategy planning.
- Experience with defect tracking and validation through closure.
- Experience testing projects using Agile frameworks.
- UFT, Python, Tosca, SAFe knowledge and ISTQB certification are desirable.
