ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT

We are looking for a talented Firmware Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, bring-up, testing, and validation of firmware solutions for next-generation server and switch platforms.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform board, BIOS, and BSP bring-up activities for server and switch platforms.
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain firmware for the BMC on Intel processor-based servers.
• Develop Linux device drivers for peripherals using I2C, SPI, and SMBus interfaces.
• Prepare detailed design and technical documentation.
• Develop new features, perform unit testing, and resolve software defects.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure quality and compliance with engineering standards.
• Debug and validate firmware on target hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware design teams during board bring-up and product validation.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in board bring-up, firmware development, and hardware validation.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and work closely with hardware design teams.
• Hands-on experience with Linux device driver development.
• Strong programming skills in C.
• Strong embedded firmware design, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of ARM architecture.
• Understanding of IPMI, I2C, SPI, and SMBus communication protocols.
• Experience with Intel Server Architecture.
• Knowledge of SDLC and strong quality and process orientation.
• Familiarity with Yocto and REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Linux Kernel Internals.
• Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or similar.
• Experience in firmware performance optimization and system-level debugging.
