Role includes management of the administration layer on which applications run. It provides management between business applications, underlying databases, and operating systems running on physical or virtual systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform cybersecurity risk assessments for statements of work and share them with the Group Cybersecurity team.
- Ensure use of the Group Cybersecurity Steppingstone connectivity model for client environments.
- Provide security-awareness training and manage secure handling of data and source-code repository credentials.
- Ensure contractors understand security obligations during offboarding.
- Manage nondisclosure agreements and maintain a centralized access-control list of signatories.
- Create security RACI matrices with clients.
- Obtain client security requirements and integrate them into agreed work.
- Maintain a risk register covering security risks, deficiencies, and mitigation measures.
- Manage security incident response, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement.
- Implement contractual security clauses and support stakeholders in understanding client requirements.
- Monitor compliance with client security clauses and remediation plans.
- Manage account-related incidents and business continuity.
- Provide general application operations and administration, non-critical incident management, and resolution.
- Develop skills in space utilization, patch management, version control, and complex application landscapes with clustered high-availability environments.
Qualifications and skills
- Two to four years in a similar role and more than five years of general IT experience.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance experience.
- Cybersecurity certification or training such as Lead Auditor, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, CISA, CISM, or CRISC.
- Strong knowledge of the NIST framework and ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and data-privacy requirements.
- General technical knowledge or experience across information systems technology, infrastructure, cloud, and AI.
- Strong leadership, team-development, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
