Join the NIKE Team as an Assistant Store Manager
As a Nike Assistant Store Manager, also known as an Assistant Head Coach, you’ll be the face of NIKE in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment. You’ll guide customers, lead your team, and focus on delivering excellent customer service.
You’ll train your team, implement NIKE Service Principles, represent the NIKE brand and culture, and help create positive experiences for customers, communities, and colleagues.
You’ll lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver the best customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You’ll use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.
Putting Your Best Foot Forward
- Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- Three years of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Experience using tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
What You're Responsible For
- Leading a team that helps keep all store functions running seamlessly.
- Staffing the store by attracting, assessing, and onboarding future teammates.
- Equipping store employees with the tools needed to succeed in their daily responsibilities.
- Leading store team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
- Managing the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
