As a Nike Assistant Store Manager, you’re the face of NIKE. You’ll work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, guiding customers and leading your team to deliver exceptional service. You’ll train your team, implement NIKE’s Service Principles and represent the global culture of sport, the NIKE brand, your colleagues and your community.

You’ll lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver the best experience for customers while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You’ll use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.

Putting Your Best Foot Forward

  • Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
  • Three years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to use tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching and counseling
  • Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights and holidays as needed

What You’re Responsible For

  • Leading a team that keeps all store functions running seamlessly
  • Attracting, assessing and onboarding future teammates
  • Equipping store employees with the tools needed to succeed in their daily responsibilities
  • Leading store team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership and management
  • Managing the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor
