Behind every great team is a great coach. As an Assistant Store Manager, referred to at Nike as an Assistant Head Coach, you’ll help lead a high-volume retail team and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and inspire the store team to deliver the best customer experience.
- Train team members and implement Nike Service Principles while representing Nike’s culture, brand, community, and values.
- Drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.
- Attract, assess, recruit, and onboard future teammates.
- Equip employees with the tools needed to succeed in their daily responsibilities.
- Lead business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership.
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- Three years of leadership experience.
- Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to use tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
