Assistant Store Manager (Assistant Head Coach) – Nike Randhurst New Store

NIKE, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager, referred to as an Assistant Head Coach, for the Nike Clearance Store Randhurst in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You will help drive store growth strategies, develop community partnerships, implement service principles, and represent Nike’s culture of sport.

Qualifications

• Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• Three years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Proven ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and keep store functions running seamlessly.
• Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates.
• Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed in their daily responsibilities.
• Lead store business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor.

The annual base salary ranges from $64,600 to $96,900, with actual salary varying by location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
