Your Role and Impact

As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving store performance by supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations and execution of retail standards. You will help create a high-performing, consumer-focused environment by leading the team on the shop floor, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a premium adidas experience.

You will act as a role model, motivating and developing your team while contributing to a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, replenishment, inventory, and compliance.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring a premium consumer experience and strong service culture.
• Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve store targets and grow their capabilities.
• Drive execution of store processes and standards to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires.
• Monitor and analyze store KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines.
• Handle challenging interpersonal situations professionally and support a positive team environment.
• Take ownership of specific store responsibilities and lead initiatives in line with business needs.
• Step in for the Store Manager when required.

What We Are Looking For In You

• Minimum 18 months of experience in a retail environment, with sports or fashion preferred, including supervisory responsibility or experience as Assistant Store Manager.
• Strong team leadership and coaching skills.
• Solid understanding of retail operations and store processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive performance.
• Good knowledge of Visual Merchandising principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
